- text: Bisher waren Zusammenschlüsse zum Eigenverbrauch (ZEV) die gängigsten Modelle zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Solarstrom. Sie sind jedoch in der Umsetzung aufwändig und geografisch stark eingeschränkt.Das revidierte Stromversorgungsgesetz (StromVG) macht neu den Verkauf von Solarstrom innerhalb einer Gemeinde möglich – und zwar mit der Lokalen Elektrizitätsgemeinschaft (LEG). Produzent*innen und Bezüger*innen können dank der LEG ihren Strom direkt miteinander teilen. Das stärkt den regionalen Energiekreislauf und fördert das gemeinschaftliche Engagement für die Energiewende.

- text: Wenn Sie im Winter ein paar Tage verreisen, drehen Sie die Heizung besser nicht komplett ab. Dadurch kühlt die Wohnung vollständig aus und es wird mehr Heizenergie benötigt, um sie bei der Rückkehr wieder auf ein angenehmes Temperaturniveau zu bringen. Denn nicht nur die Luft, sondern auch die Wände und alle Gegenstände, wie beispielsweise Möbel, kühlen ab. Lassen Sie die Heizung auf einem sehr niedrigen Niveau weiterlaufen, um Energie zu sparen – gerade so, dass eine Temperatur von rund 18 °C eingehalten wird. Bei hohen Temperaturschwankungen lauert auch eine andere Gefahr: Schimmel. Schon allein deswegen sollte die Raumtemperatur keinen allzu hohen Schwankungen unterliegen.

- text: Das Modell der Hoch- und Niedertarife prägt die Schweizer Stromlandschaft seit den 1960er-Jahren. Neue grosse Fluss- und Atomkraftwerke lieferten sogenannte Bandenergie – eine konstante, rund um die Uhr verfügbare Strommenge. Um Konsument*innen zu einem netzdienlichen Verhalten zu motivieren, wurde der Niedertarif eingeführt: Strom sollte dann genutzt werden, wenn er ohnehin im Überfluss vorhanden war. So liessen sich Verbrauchsspitzen dämpfen, etwa zur Mittagszeit, wenn die Nachfrage besonders hoch ist. Nach über 60 Jahren passt dieses Modell jedoch nicht mehr zur heutigen Energiewelt. Viele Energieversorger haben den Doppeltarif bereits abgeschafft – so auch die IBI per Ende 2025.
